Once Upon a Farm is the leading childhood nutrition brand offering organic no-added-sugar snacks and meals for babies to big kids. The emerging brand’s signature products are cold pressed fruit and veggie blends in spouted pouches, now sold in over 20,000+ stores nationwide and online.
In early 2023, these two Public Benefit Corporations established a partnership to keep used pouches out of landfills through a consumer mail back program with the highest level of transparency.
Once Upon a Farm will be the first to admit the inherent limitations and imperfections of consumer take-back programs. And yet, this program partnership has proved to be a worthy initiative for an emerging brand who has found additional value and impact opportunities beneath the surface.
Join this session to learn about why transparency in waste management is typically so challenging, what makes this partnership unique and how it is leveraged for impact and influence that extends beyond the mail back program itself.
